Student Dies After Allegedly Being Thrown From Moving PSV Along Thika Road

A student died in a tragic road incident along Thika Road on Friday morning after allegedly being thrown from a moving public service vehicle (PSV) before being run over.

Police in Kasarani have impounded a Nicco Sacco bus, registration number KDV 713J, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident begin.

According to preliminary police reports, the student was allegedly ejected from the moving bus before falling onto the roadway and being fatally run over.

Authorities have launched investigations to establish the exact sequence of events leading to the student’s death. Detectives are expected to examine the conduct of the vehicle crew, interview witnesses, and review any available evidence that may shed light on the incident.

The victim’s body was removed from the scene and taken to a mortuary pending identification and a post-mortem examination.

Police have urged anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigations.
